An clean hotel with a friendly staff helped create a good experience. The restaurant offered a delicious breakfast, including a notable Irish soda bread, a highlight. Unfortunately, the reservation process was frustrating. Inconsistent information created stress for my son and daughter-in-law on their wedding night, especially regarding charges and late check-in.

The setting was favourable, next to a lovely university campus.

Convenient location to Mccrae House. Beautifully designed bathroom and fully-equipped room. Early check in and late check out.

Beautiful, gorgeous building

The hotel was fairly clean with very helpful and efficient staff with arrangements. The venue's location was perfect, right by the center of things, the restaurant, and art gallery. Furthermore, to park on an open parking lot.

we were down to witness our son's PhD challenge at UNIV OF GUELPH on friday morning. the hotel was in a perfect location, the room was excellent, the dining and service was excellent, we even bought two of you room pillows..... enough of a recommendation?

Family with children will love it

Café Mason was awesome! I loved how they had a take-out option for breakfast, you know. Since I always need my coffee fix.

It wasn't inexpensive but you get what you pay for.

The room was very clean, quiet, well appointed and comfortable. I was pleased that wired internet was available for free in the rooms and that wireless was available in the conference rooms.

The conference room was very cold in temperature and the meal selection at the restaurant was limited and very high priced.

Fitness center always accessible: That was good

The reception staff were - North American - friendly and not overly competent. Breakfast is definitely not continental.

Good Stay with Friendly Staff and Excellent Dining

Spend a wonderful four nights in a King Room! The on-site restaurant offered delicious breakfast options. I had a cozy evening in the lounge with a great ambiance for relaxation. Friendly staff were always available to help with any request. Highly recommend for a getaway!

Design, comfort, cleanliness

No pool- was not aware of that, they moved us to a two person sweet when we had four people- only one bed. room was very small and crowded as we had to move the furniture to make room to pull out the couch

Proximity to University, room amenities, reasonable price, very attentive staff

The location was perfect for exploring the local attractions. I really appreciated the friendly staff and the comfortable king-sized bed in my room. Housekeeping was sometimes inconsistent, but overall, I enjoyed my stay and the delicious breakfast options available each morning. Great service at the restaurant too!

We stayed at this hotel because we were in a golf tournament Saturday/Sunday. Unfortunately, we did not have an opportunity to explore what the hotel had to offer. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable.
